I love him, but every other protagonist had already been to Silent Hill, or had some sort of connection deep within its roots. Murphy doesn’t seem to have any. And that is wrong. I feel like that’s incorrect. I feel like Harry hadn’t actually been there before he decided to drive through it and crashed. But maybe I’m wrong. I also feel like Henry hadn’t been there either. In fact, Silent Hill 4 doesn’t even really take place in Silent Hill at all. Just in the forest around it or something. But again, maybe I’m wrong. Also Murphy is awesome. And I don’t believe that a person has to have had some issue with the town before it decides to fuck them around. Part of me thinks the town, or whatever, is just an asshole. An angry asshole.
